Description (from the notice)
As part of the wider Crisis and Resilience funding allocated to SCDC, funding has been allocated toward increasing Attendance Allowance uptake in South Cambridgeshire. An appropriate contractor is therefore being sought after to deliver an estimated 200 appointments to support residents with Attendance Allowance applications and, where suitable, advise them of other support that they could be eligible for. SCDC will identify households that could be eligible for Attendance Allowance and contact them to make them aware of this. Residents who wish to set up an appointment will contact SCDC and will be referred to the successful contractor to set up an appointment. At these appointments, the successful contractor will discuss Attendance Allowance eligibility with the resident, support them to complete their Attendance Allowance application form, and discuss further health and wellbeing support available to them in South Cambridgeshire.
