Description (from the notice)
The project objective is the reduction of risk associated with the identified/immediate rockfall hazard. The overarching objective Argyll and Bute Council is to appoint a specialist geotechnical Contractor to execute targeted rockfall mitigation works on the B8035 road. The preferred design solution involves the systematic, targeted scaling of approximately 500 metres of the designated rock face to actively mitigate structural stability hazards to achieve the project objective of the reduction of risk associated with the identified/immediate rockfall hazard.
